Incarnate Word’s women’s tennis Cardinals, ranked 17 in the nation, moved on in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Tournament with a 5-1 decision over Central Oklahoma in Thursday’s first round.

Central Oklahoma Ends St. Marys Softball Season, 7-4
The University of Central Oklahoma scored four runs in the fifth inning, then added three insurance runs in the seventh to defeat St. Mary's University, 7-4, ending the Rattlers season at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional, Thursday afternoon at the ASU Softball Complex.

St. Edwards qualifies for national tournament for second time in school history
The seventh-ranked St. Edward’s men’s golf team shot a one-under 283 to pull away from the rest of the field Wednesday in the 2008 NCAA Division II South/South Central Super Regional at Grey Rock Golf Club. Top-ranked West Florida hung on for first in the South Region. Both teams advance to the National Tournament, along with Florida Southern, North Alabama and Nova Southeastern.
